Rona Meyuchas K an Israeli/British industrial designer founded rmkdesignoffice in 2007 in East London.

Rona started her intensive career in Italy after graduating with a Masters in Industrial design from the SPD, and going on to work for various international industrial design consultancies in Milan.

In 2000 Rona moved to London and worked at Isometrix lighting & Design as a senior product designer and was responsible for the design and manufacture of custom made lighting products. Some of the projects included Yawatcha Restaurant (FX award), Nobu Restaurants, Hotel Puerta America (winner of best lighting design award 2006), Rosehearty luxury yacht and some private residences.
Having designed award winning products for companies such as Leucos, Aldabra, Egoluce, CattelanItalia, M&S, Luceplan and others, Rona’s professional experience in design and manufacturing inspired her to design and make products under her own label.  Under the title of rmkdesign office Rona released her first batch of products in East London in 2007.  Later that year Rona received recognition of excellence in design from the Israeli government.
In 2008,Fiera Milano approached Rona to feature her work in the second edition book ‘BOX 40/2’ about emerging young designers under 40 who have contributed to Italian companies.  Critical acclaim followed in 2009 and 2010 when rmkdesignoffice was selected to represent British design at prestigious events in Milan curated by Paul Smith, Moroso and La Rinascente.
At the beginning of 2010 Rona founded the  kukka™ brand under which all rmkdesignoffice products are now sold.
Rona’s work has been published extensively in design magazines, books and on television.  Her design products have been exhibited internationally at design events in Milan, London, Vienna, Tel-Aviv, Frankfurt and Tokyo.
